JD STADIUM COMPLEX - LIAONING CHINA

 

The design intent is to create a series of indoor & outdoor spaces integrating while blurring the boundary between the viewing and participation of sports. By creating a promenade braced by activities ranging from daily gym workoutand park recreation to weekly and annual stadium-setting events, the design allows for a mixture of activities to populate the site 24-7 all year long. In this setting, everyone is both a activity participant and audience at the same time.
