The design features its waterfront location by extending the riverside park into the residential courtyards and commerical promenade. 3 story commerical buildings and villas are stacked on the south street side while the residential portion hovers above the reshaped waterfront park. The divison help mitigate the scale contrast and maximize southern direct sun exposure in this northern part of China where it's considered a necessity.
